Hello everyone! Here we are starting a new gaming series. This is Dreamscaper, a top-down action roguelite with gorgeous graphics and slow-paced melee combat. There are a lot of different mechanics, you have a ranged attack, 2 active skills, a shield that you can use for parry, a dash and of course your classic passive relics. And just to be clear, every skill is an item, which means there are different shields, different dashes, different melees and so on… Each one with their own passive and/or active special abilities.
There is also a huge focus on dramatic story going on here, but I honestly couldn’t get too much into it, so I might be skipping it, and the meta-progression system is SLOW. There is a lot to upgrade and it can really affect your run, but the amount of materials you get after each run for the permanent progression is so low that makes the progress quite slow-paced.
Graphically is quite pretty, and the nostalgic feeling that the OST gives you fits perfectly.
